Licensing service for practicing medical and veterinary professions

guide for practice of medical veterinary professions licensing

For citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain and GCC

Kingdom of Bahrain and citizens and Gulf Cooperation Council countries citizens can request for this service to obtain a license to practice veterinary medical professions, which includes all professions related to the veterinary medical sector, and the license period is valid for five years from the date of issuance.



Required Documents:

  • 1- Academic degrees are not less than a bachelor’s degree (they must be accredited and certified).
  • 2- Equivalence and evaluation of academic qualifications from the Ministry of Education.
  • 3- Fill out the application form for practice veterinary medical professions license (QF.AWR.03) Click here.
  • 4- Criminal record - Good Conduct Certificate (Ministry of Interior).
  • 5- CV + personal photos.
  • 6- copy from identity card and passport.
  • 7- A letter from the owner of the facility stating the following:
  •   - Personal data for the applicant.
  •   - The branch he will work in.
  •   - Type of medical profession to be practiced.


Licensing procedures:

  • 1- Equivalence and evaluation of academic qualifications from the Ministry of Education.
  • 2- Fill out the application form for practice veterinary medical professions license (QF.AWR.03) (click here).
  • 3- Send all required documents by e-mail, in PDF format, to Aredha@mun.gov.bh.
  • 4- approval from Veterinary Licensing Committee to grant the license.
  • 5- Pay the fees for practice veterinary medical professions license (BD 30).
  • 6- Issuing practice veterinary medical professions license that is valid for a five years from the date of issue.


Note:

  • 1- Any application not complete with the above documents will be rejected
  • 2- In case that the applicant resides outside the Kingdom of Bahrain, the criminal record shall be extracted from the country of residence.
  • 3- The practice veterinary medical professions license is issued only to veterinary medical facilities licensed by the Animal Resources Agency.
  • 4- The license will be canceled if the applicant moves to another facility and he must submit to the agency a local transfer request.

Guide for Specialists (Veterinarian,
Pharmacists and Lab Specialists) and Assistants Practice

Through this service, residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain can request to obtain a practice veterinary medical professions license , including clinics, hospitals and veterinary slaughterhouses, and the license period is valid for two years from the date of issuance.

  • 8- Issuing a practice veterinary medical professions license , valid for two years from the date of issue.

Practice veterinary (assistance) License

Through this service, citizens residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain can request to obtain practice veterinary medical professions license for holders of diploma degrees, and the support professions include (veterinary technician - pharmacy technician - laboratory technician) and the license period is valid for a period of two years from the date of issuance.

  • 1- Validation report of academic qualifications and experience from Data Flow (For non-citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries) - click here.
  • 2- Academic degrees are not less than a diploma (accredited and certified).
  • 3- Equivalence and evaluation of academic qualifications from the Ministry of Education (citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries).

  • 5- Criminal record - Good Conduct Certificate (Ministry of Interior).

  • 7- work experience certificates not less than three years in the field (for non-citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries).
