The Municipality of the Southern Region, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the residents of Madinat Khalifa housing, planted 307 local trees, in line with the national afforestation strategy and to complement the initiative to intensify cultivation in residential areas.<br /><br />The organization of this afforestation campaign comes as part of the efforts of the municipality of the southern region to enhance aspects of cooperation and coordination with government and civil agencies and civil society institutions, to cover all unused areas in streets, walkways, gardens and residential neighborhoods, in the work of agriculture and afforestation and to add aesthetic touches to the urban character, as well as to enhance the environment Preserve and increase the green patch.
