Director General of the Southern Municipality Oversees Rainwater Drainage Efforts

Engineer Issa Abdulrahman Al-Buainain, Director General of the Southern Municipality, conducted an inspection tour of several areas affected by rainwater accumulation in the Southern Governorate, accompanied by the Rain Emergency Response Team.

During his field visit, Al-Buainain oversaw the water drainage operations in various locations, including East Riffa, North Riffa, Buhair, and other affected areas, where the emergency team was actively addressing the situation.

He emphasized the immediate response to reports of rainwater accumulation and highlighted the ongoing coordination between the ministry and the municipal council of the Southern Municipality to manage the current wave of rainfall effectively.

Al-Buainain also noted that the municipality had completed its preparations ahead of the rainfall in collaboration with various relevant entities to ensure swift intervention and effective water drainage on internal roads.
