Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Meets British Delegation to Discuss Enhancing Cooperation in Agricultural Development  

His Excellency Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, met with His Excellency Mr. Alastair Long, UK Ambassador to Bahrain, along with an accompanying delegation of company representatives and agricultural experts. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in agricultural development.

At the outset of the meeting, HE the Minister commended the longstanding ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, highlighting their successful cooperation in municipal and agricultural affairs. He particularly emphasized the joint efforts made to introduce innovative solutions and advanced technologies that enhance the quality, quantity, and sustainability of agricultural production.

The British Ambassador, for his part, emphasized the deep-rooted historical ties between the two friendly nations, commending the level of cooperation in municipal and agricultural fields. He also expressed his eagerness for the continuation of agricultural cooperation, aiming to expand it to new horizons in pursuit of shared goals.

The members of the delegation presented an overview of the ongoing collaborations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting the advanced technologies used in the agricultural sector by universities, research institutions, and agricultural companies in the United Kingdom. They also presented key ongoing research initiatives and technologically based agricultural products that offer innovative solutions to foster agricultural development.
