Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Meets with the Executive Director of the International Dates Council

HE Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, met with Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Habib, Executive Director of the International Dates Council, and Mr. Fawaz Al-Ghidhani, Deputy Executive Director of the Council, at the Ministry's headquarters. The meeting was also attended by Eng. Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs, and Eng. Assem Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and Livestock Wealth.

The meeting discussed various topics related to the development of palm cultivation and the improvement of date quality. It also explored avenues for cooperation in date production among countries in the region, given that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a member of the International Dates Council.

For his part, the Executive Director of the International Dates Council expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister for the warm reception. He emphasized his commitment to strengthening cooperation and expanding its scope while wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity in its comprehensive development journey.
