Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Receives Secretaries-General of Arab and African Agricultural Engineers Unions

HE Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, welcomed Eng. Mounib Ouberi, President of the National Union of Algerian Agricultural Engineers and Secretary-General of the Arab Agricultural Engineers Union, along with Dr. Sayed Khalifa, Head of the Agricultural Professions Syndicate in Egypt and Secretary-General of the Arab-African Agricultural Engineers Union. The meeting was held in conjunction with the 36th Annual Fertilizer Conference in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Minister commended the efforts of agricultural engineering unions in advancing agricultural development and reaffirmed the ministry’s support for professionals in the sector, including engineers, farmers, and technicians. He also emphasized the ministry’s commitment and dedication to working with various relevant authorities to enhance this crucial national sector.

The visiting delegates expressed their gratitude to the Minister for the meeting and looked forward to further cooperation and coordination to promote agricultural progress in the region.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Asim Abdulatif, Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs and Animal Wealth; Eng. Mohammed Al-Oraibi, Assistant Undersecretary for Agricultural Affairs; and Eng. Mohammed Tawfiq Al Abbas, Chairman of the Bahrain Agricultural Engineers Society, along with members of the society’s board.
