The Minister of Municipalities Receives the Secretary-General of the Arab Towns Organization

His Excellency Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, received His Excellency Engineer Abdul Rahman Hisham Al Asfour, Secretary-General of the Arab Towns Organization, in the presence of His Excellency Engineer Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs, and Engineer Mohammed Saad Al-Suhaili, Director General of the Capital Secretariat.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the frameworks of cooperation between the ministry and the General Secretariat of the Arab Towns Organization in urban development. Emphasis was placed on the importance of exchanging expertise and best practices in urban planning and sustainable agriculture. The discussion also included a review of the ministry's key current and future projects aimed at continuing infrastructure development and enhancing provided services.

HE the minister commended the organization’s role in strengthening ties between Arab cities, expressing his interest in collaborating with the Arab Towns Organization to promote sustainable development programs and exchange ideas on urban and agricultural matters related to city development.
