Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wins First Place at Bahrain International Garden Show 2025

The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture secured first place in the Best Government Sector Pavilion category at the Bahrain International Garden Show 2025 which was held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Center from February 20th to February 23rd, 2025.

On this occasion, HE Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Chairperson of the Advisory Council of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, for her continued support in organizing the exhibition and ongoing encouragement of Bahrain’s agricultural sector. He also commended the dedicated efforts of the ministry’s team and congratulated them on this prestigious achievement.

Minister Al Mubarak emphasized the significance of the Bahrain International Garden Show in advancing food security and expanding Bahrain’s vegetation, reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to developing the agricultural sector in line with national aspirations.

As part of the event, the Ministry honored HE Shaikha Maram Bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development. The award was presented by Eng. Abbas Abdullah Hussain Arafat, Director of Vegetation Development at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture.
