Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and Animal Wealth inspects the National Center of Agricultural Laboratories in Hoorat Aali

HE Eng. Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and Animal Wealth at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, highlighted the role of the National Center of Agricultural Laboratories in providing scientific contributions in the fields of animal health and the safety of agricultural products, noting the importance of continuing efforts and endeavors to develop it in order to achieve the desired goals.

This occurred during His Excellency's inspection visit to the National Center of Agricultural Laboratories in Hoorat Aali. He was accompanied by several ministry officials, including Eng. Mohammed Mirza Al-Araibi, Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs, and Dr. Ibrahim Yousef Ahmed, Assistant Undersecretary for Animal Wealth.

The Undersecretary for Agriculture and Animal Wealth was briefed during the visit on the various specialized and technical laboratory departments, which include Plant Protection Laboratories (Insects and Plant Diseases), Soil Laboratories, Tissue Culture, Pesticides, Food Safety Laboratories, Water Laboratories, Molecular and Serological Techniques, Parasitology, and Microbiology Laboratories.

According to the Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and Animal Wealth, having a laboratory center in the agricultural and animal fields will help with scientific research, field and laboratory studies, and the diagnosis of diseases in both agriculture and animals. It will also ensure that vaccination programs are effective. He continued by saying that agricultural laboratories strive to offer farmers and breeders the finest services possible and identify suitable solutions to guarantee and enhance the safety and quality of their products.
