Service Procedures and Steps
- Login using the eKey and submit the application (for institutions and companies: a new username must be created before applying) Obtain the municipality’s approval
- Pay the security deposit (three times the monthly fee or 100 BHD, whichever is higher) Open the municipal fees account and send the bank direct debit form via email

Terms and Conditions
- All attached lease contracts must be registered in the Contract Registration System on the eGovernment Portal (Bahrain.bh).
- All lease contracts must be drafted in Arabic, or accompanied by an official certified translation issued by a licensed translation office and stamped with the office seal.

You can apply for this service through municipalities affairs website, and choose the New Municipal Fees Account service.

3 - Do I have to pay an insurance fee to open this account?
Yes, the insurance fee is 100 BHD.
