Towns and Villages Development Project
- The Towns and Villages Development Project is one of the development projects that aims to provide service requirements to help needy families who are unable to restore their old homes.
- This project has received support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it is one of the first service and development projects for the Bahrain government.
- The project is based on the demolition and rebuilding homes that are ramshackle, and a large number of needy families have benefited from this project, as a large number of low-income families homes was rebuilding. Also homes that were damaged by fire were restored, and needy families were also helped to install rain insulators.
- The Northern Municipal Council places the Towns and Villages Development Project among its priorities, as it works in the modern phase to build a direction to correct the course of projects that fall within the project's work plan, which contributes to improving the standard of living for needy families and achieving the goals of the national project for sustainable development.
