Al-Ghatam: The delivery and receipt of work areas to the new cleaning company has begun

He said that "the Spanish company started its experimental work as of June 14, 2016 within a transitional phase in coordination with (Sphinx), and with close follow-up by the Northern Region Municipality, provided that the company fully assumes its duties at the level of the Northern Governorate as of the beginning of July 2016." He explained, "Work has begun as a first phase in 10 complexes, starting from the Muqsha area, Hillat Abdul Saleh and Jannusan area, and 206 new garbage containers have been distributed in the area's complexes." Al-Ghatam said, "A work team has been formed to follow up the cleaning work carried out by the Spanish company within the municipality of the northern region, in accordance with the contract concluded with the company, to determine the extent of its ability to carry out the work entrusted to it, and to indicate the shortcomings in the implementation of its obligations." He continued, "The work team also proposes to take the necessary measures in the event that the terms of the contract are not implemented within the specified dates, and to propose emergency alternatives in the event that the company is unable to start work on time on July 1, 2016." For his part, the head of the work team to follow up on the work of the cleaning company, Ali Hassan Al-Salam, said that "the work team will hold almost daily meetings with the Spanish cleaning company and the previous company in order to complete the work of the transitional phase to the fullest and take over the work completely." Al-Salam added, "The work team conducts daily field tours to see the new company's equipment and follow up on the delivery of areas between Sphinx and the new cleaning company (Urbaseer)."
