The municipality of the southern region launches a new initiative for the irrigation system

The Municipality of the Southern Region launched a new initiative, which is to operate the irrigation system using solar energy on Al-Quds Street in Isa Town, through the intelligent control mechanism of the operation of the irrigation system for crops.<br /><br /> This initiative consists of installing solar panels and automatically linking them to the irrigation network on Al Quds Street, where irrigation pumps are operated and the opening and closing operations of the system are controlled remotely through the Istiklal station.<br /> <br />This initiative comes to achieve the sustainable development goals to save energy and conserve water. Which is among the priorities of the strategy of the municipality of the southern region, which aims to optimize the use of natural resources and energy, from which this initiative resulted.
