The Southern Municipality signs a memorandum of understanding with Clean Up Bahrain Association

The municipality of the southern region signed a memorandum of understanding with Clean Up Bahrain Association, where the municipality was represented to sign the agreement by its general manager, Eng. Assem Abdullatif Abdullah, while the association was represented by the secretary, Mrs. Nadia Fawzi Shehab, in the presence of a number of officials in the municipality and the association.<br />On this occasion, the Director General affirmed the municipality?s keenness to strengthen the community partnership with civil society institutions and other relevant authorities, to support its efforts in maintaining the public facilities that the municipality implemented to serve community members, and to spread a culture of public hygiene and awareness by educating individuals about the need to properly dispose of garbage. Encouraging them to sort waste to facilitate its recycling and exploitation in new industries, instead of getting rid of it by burying it in the ground.
