The Director General of Muharraq Municipality, Eng. Ibrahim Yousef Al-Jowder, paid an inspection visit to the Hanging Garden in the case of Bu Maher, in order to follow up on the maintenance work there, accompanied by a member of the Muharraq Municipal Council from the fourth district, Mr. Ghazi Abdul Aziz Al-Morbati and a number of municipal officials. During the visit, the Director General was briefed on all the stages of completion and the rest of the periodic maintenance operations in the garden, which consisted of cleaning and maintaining the floor and games, pruning and organizing plants, and strengthening the lighting, in addition to the maintenance of car parks such as painting works, noting that the hanging garden is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Bahrain in terms of its idea and method of implementation. The Director-General explained that the park consists of the ground floor for parking spaces for about 40 cars designated for the people of the area and park-goers, in addition to the upper floor and includes the site of the park, which contains trees adapted to the concept of planting rooftops, and green spaces. The Director-General stressed that the municipality will continue to implement its programs aimed at enhancing and improving the quality and efficiency of the level of services provided to citizens and residents, including gardening and landscaping to preserve the aesthetic and environmental landscape as part of its priorities in serving the people of Muharraq Governorate, pointing to the need for the participation of parents and users of squares, parks and facilities. public in preserving it from tampering and vandalism. For his part, Municipal member Ghazi Al-Morbati stated that the park has an area of ​​about 1,453 square meters, and contains a group of recreational and environmental elements that contribute to creating a family entertainment atmosphere, as an area designated for children's games that were distributed according to safety conditions, and the provision of service buildings such as toilets, as well as A walkway connecting the components, and the garden was provided with seating and shaded family sessions, in addition to the use of the water element represented by the fountain, which adds elegance and beauty to the garden. He referred to the efforts made by the Muharraq municipality, represented by the executive body, which works to meet the needs of the people in proportion to the nature of the area and the limited land in it. Noting the level of fruitful cooperation between the Municipal Council and the Executive Authority in achieving the aspirations of citizens from development projects.
