Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Meets with the Chairman and Members of the Bahrain Property Development Association  

His Excellency Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, stressed the Ministry's commitment to expanding cooperation and partnership with the private sector, describing it as an essential partner and key driver of sustainable development. He highlighted the important role real estate developers play in supporting the construction sector and driving investment growth.

The Minister met with Mr. Aref Ahmed Hajras, Chairman of the Bahrain Property Development Association, along with several Association members, in a meeting also attended by Engineer Asim Abdullatif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and Animal Wealth and several other Ministry officials.

The Minister noted the Ministry's keenness to continue strengthening cooperation with the Bahrain Property Development Association, in a way that supports urban development efforts and helps achieve desired developmental goals, alongside improving the quality of services provided to citizens, residents, and investors.

During the meeting, several topics of mutual interest were discussed, including ways to develop working mechanisms and coordination between the two sides, in order to enhance the efficiency of procedures and raise the quality of services provided to the community.

For his part, Mr. Aref Ahmed Hajras, Chairman of the Bahrain Property Development Association, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, stressing the importance of continuing to strengthen communication and coordination between the Ministry and real estate developers, in a way that contributes to improving the business and investment environment and supports the Kingdom's urban development efforts.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Chairman and members of the Association toured the historic Manama Municipality building, noting its distinctive architectural character that reflects the municipality's long-standing heritage. They also visited the Municipal Exhibition, which documents the history of municipal work and its various historical milestones, and showcases the most notable achievements and developments witnessed by the municipal sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain over the past decades.
