The Southern Municipality monitors 1,622 road occupancy violations in 2021

Riffa - Municipality of the southern region<br /><br />The Director General of the Municipality of the Southern Region, Eng. Assem Abdul Latif Abdullah, stated that the municipality, represented by the Licenses Control and Inspection Department, had detected about 1,622 violations of public road occupancy from January to December 2021.<br /><br />He pointed out that the observed violations include infringing advertisements that distort the general appearance of buildings in residential neighborhoods and roads, workers' housing, car washes, cafes and food carts, boats and fishing tools, and others, which were monitored in several locations, including Ras Zuweid, East Riffa, Hajiyat, Nuwaidrat, Riffa and Hafira. Askar, Isa Town, Horat Sanad, Al Buhair, the popular market, the Independence Walk, the case of Umm Al-Beidh, and others. Noting that the municipality continues to implement its campaigns to monitor and control all violations in all regions, calling on everyone to abide by the municipal laws and requirements in force in the framework of cooperation and social responsibility.
