the First Ordinary Northern Municipal Council Meeting From the first round of the sixth municipal session 2022 – 2026

The Municipal Council of the Northern Region held its first ordinary meeting of the first round of the sixth municipal session 2022-2026 today, Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Council building in Budaiya headed by Dr. Sayed Shubber Ebrahim Al-Wedai, with presence of the members of the Council and the Director General of the Northern Region Municipality Engineer Lamya Al-Fadhala, which coincides with the Kingdom's celebrations of the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Accession Day of His Majesty

HE the head of the Council addressed to His Majesty the King sincere congratulations and prayers to God Almighty to surround His Majesty with his generous patronage to continue the process of democratic reform. He also stressed the Northern Municipal Council's firm position in building a conscious path of municipal action that contributes to promoting the goals of the National Project for Sustainable Development

The meeting was agreed to form the four committees, It is the Services Committee headed by Mr.  Zainab Al-Derazi, Technical Committee headed by Mr. Basim Abuedress, Financial and Legal Committee headed by Dr. Salman Abdulla, Public Relations and Media Committee headed by Mr. Jasim Hejris
