Summary of the eleventh regular Northern Municipal Council meeting From the first round of the sixth municipal session 2022-2026

 

The Municipal Council of the Northern Region held its eleventh regular meeting of the first session of the sixth municipal session 2022-2026 today, Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in the council building in Budaiya, headed by Dr. Sayed Shubar Ibrahim Al-Wadaei, and the presence of the members of the Council, His Excellency the Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs, Eng. Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and His Excellency the Director General of the Municipality of the Northern Region, Eng. Lamia Al-Fadhala.

 

His Excellency the Chairman of the Council opened the session by welcoming His Excellency the Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs to attend the meeting of the Council, and what this presence symbolizes is the Ministry's keenness to support the work of the Municipal Council. His Excellency the Chairman of the Council also congratulated the administrative staff on the occasion of Labor Day and praised them in his speech for their sincere efforts in providing the appropriate environment In supporting the efforts of the members of the Council and strengthening the process of organized work to achieve sustainable achievements of our municipal work projects. His Excellency also stressed the competence and response capabilities of the Bahraini worker in enduring the hardships of work, overcoming difficulties, and contributing to the achievement of the goals of the national development project.

The Council also made several recommendations that directly affect the needs of citizens, as it recommended the approval of several proposals, as follows:

 

1. A proposal to establish car parks in the A'ali area, Block 734.

2A proposal to beautify and install the monument on the roundabouts of Aali Street.

3A proposal to allocate land for the Eskan Aali Association and Diwaniyah for retirees.

4. A proposal to install welcome panels for arrivals and departures from the Kingdom of Bahrain.
