The Second Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) e-Government Awards and Conference

The 2nd Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) e-Government Awards and Conference took place in Kuwait City during 13-15 November 2011. The event was Organized by the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) of Kuwait Government. The conference was attended by more than 200 delegates from Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, State of Kuwait, State of Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, and United Arab Emirates (UAE) as well as participants from other countries. In addition to the conference, the participants had the opportunity to display their services and explained for the visitors their systems and how helpful it is.

Ministry of Municipalities and urban planning section was visited by many people where the different e-services were explained for them and how the ministry is assuring the public convenience while using the e-services. Mr. Salem Al-Uthayna on behalf of the sponsor His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah visited the exhibition and honored all the participants on the exhibition.
